A well known hotel and entertainment complex needed to re-vision and reinterpret the property as a whole, while preserving its rich heritage. They had a diamond in the rough. They weren't appealing to modern travelers who value uniqueness and experience. They were stuck in an outdated, and pre-COVID, rut. Facilities were overlooked, there was no synergy in brand message being communicated, and their ECom needed some love. But the potential was undeniable. What could provide a more special experience than an artistic, historic urban resort in the middle of the Sonoran Desert? That sounds more interesting for sure. That's what we re-imagined and pulled the whole property (including restaurants and event venues) into the 21st century world of experiential, and Instagrammable, travel. Oh, and we increased awareness, attendance, occupancy, margins, and revenue along the way.
A premium lifestyle brand was looking to expand into a new market sector. We researched the competition and built a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for their new camera and travel collection. We amplified the brand's streetwear roots to bring an authentic message which spoke to a new generation of photographers. We linked fashion with technology to tell a story about self expression and creativity. We negotiated partnerships with some of the most influential artists to champion the products and created compelling assets to bring the message across photo, video, and advertising. The result was bringing a high level of visibility and desirability to the new product line, which made this collection the company's best seller on its DTC site. It also generated wholesale sales to numerous top retail partners. Ultimately, the success of these products became even more important to the company with COVID closures, when outdoor activities and local travel became the new frontier.
A large multi-brand corporation was looking for proof of concept of a new direction into the comic space. We built out a full product development and go-to-market strategy. This included partnering with legendary DC Comics artist, Jim Lee, to develop products that would be authentic to the comic crowd.
We built a comprehensive Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for R&D and to offset risk. The campaign funded at 300% of the original goal. Creative assets and ad campaigns were built and programmed. Additionally we coordinated a high-profile launch and signing event with Jim in Los Angeles as well as the company's first participation at Comic-Con to connect with the fan base and to set up sales distribution contacts. The program was a huge success and produced products that are still considered collectors items in the comic world.
